"I do not want Tudorville Youth Centre boarded up. The building is sound. However, the Children's Directorate of Herefordshire Council has decided they do not want to manage Tudorville Youth Centre going forward. The Centre has annual running costs of approximately £12,000 per year.
"I strongly believe it is incredibly important to support local leisure facilities and community centres. I support innovative plans by residents in Tudorville to transfer the running and management of the centre to the local community for use by all ages. It would be outrageous if yet more community facilities in Herefordshire were allowed to fall into disrepair to the detriment of the local community. I look forward to Herefordshire Council and Tudorville residents meeting to discuss the possible transfer of assets to ensure the survival of the Tudorville Centre and support for the local community.
