Sarah Carr out on the road with Dore Community Transport

Sarah Carr, Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for Hereford and South Herefordshire, travelled with Dore Community Transport on Friday 31st July meeting local people reliant on the community transport to get to doctor and hospital appointments, get shopping and attend social events.

Sarah said,

"Community transport offers a vital service in the lives of so many people in Herefordshire. Users are of all ages and abilities with one thing in common, they are without transport or access to public transport.

"Our county is supported by so many volunteers and community transport is reliant on a small army of volunteer drivers. I fully support the vital work of our community transport schemes in Herefordshire all of which are charities, run on a shoestring and offering a lifeline to so many local people."
