HIA Chairman Barry Shaw, Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate Sarah Carr, and Councillor Terry James.

Councillor Terry James, Leader of the Liberal Democrat group on Herefordshire Council and Sarah Carr, Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for Hereford and South Herefordshire were guest speakers at a dinner of Herefordshire Industrial Association held at The Pengethley Manor Hotel on Tuesday 15th July.

Sarah Carr's comprehensive and passionate address outlined her 'Vision for Herefordshire' building on Councillor Terry James speech which reflected on changes in development since the Conservatives took control of Herefordshire Council.

Sarah Carr said:

"The key for me is celebrating what we all love about Herefordshire - the countryside, the pace of life, the community, the history and the people and then the improvements we want - a second river crossing, infrastructure for more local business success, better paid jobs, more leisure facilities, opportunity for young people and affordable housing for local people."

Both Terry and Sarah took questions from the business attendees after their speeches.
