Sarah Carr came to help at the Cathedral collection point, where many residents brought their kind donations.

Helping the Children of Peace appeal, Sarah Carr (Hereford's Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate) rolled up her sleeves to help collect and sort donated supplies outside Hereford Cathedral. Many residents of Herefordshire have given their support to the appeal. Collecting much-needed clothes and supplies for children (both Palestinian and Israeli) in the Holy Land, the appeal has seen many donations to help some of the most disadvantaged children in Israel and Palestine.

Sarah Carr praised the efforts of those who donated and the volunteers who manned the collection point outside the Cathedral, 'It's been great to see the response from the people of our county. So many people have given their time, donations and effort. At this time when thoughts turn to Christmas and giving to others, it is truly wonderful to see how Herefordshire embodies this spirit.'
