Paul Keetch MP, Sarah Carr and Herefordshire Lib Dems support Ross-based PGL

Sarah Carr, Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Hereford and South Herefordshire and Paul Keetch MP yesterday (23 rd August) visited Ross-on-Wye based PGL headquarters and their nearby Court Farm adventure centre to mark PGL's 50th anniversary being celebrated next week (29th August).

Ross based PGL is the UK's leading provider of school trips and educational tours - offering adventure courses, subject specific courses and summer camps. PGL also operate two adventure centres near Ross-on Wye.

PGL is one of Ross-on-Wye's largest employers. It was established in 1957 by the late Peter Gordon Lawrence. PGL is also known to many children as 'Parents Get Lost'!

Sarah Carr said, "I am delighted that PGL is celebrating it's 50th anniversary with it's headquarters firmly routed in Ross-on-Wye. Herefordshire launched PGL and today still offers a rural hideaway and fantastic adventure experience on the banks of the River Wye for children from across the UK.

I went on a PGL trip when I was at school. It was brilliant although I was not too keen on the abseiling! I wish PGL my best wishes for many more successful years on their anniversary."
