MOOR FARM - IMPROVEMENTS AT LAST

11.24.02am GMT Mon 20th Dec 2004

After petitioning of Herefordshire Housing, local councillor Anna Toon and MP Paul Keetch are pleased further improvements are finally being made at the maisonettes at Moor Farm. Improvements come after Herefordshire Housing Chief Executive; Tony Jacques visited the blocks with Anna and Paul to see how much the blocks had deteriorated over the years.

Cllr Toon commented, I am extremely pleased that Herefordshire Housing has finally acted on our findings and set the wheels in motion.

However, there is still a long way to go to improving the quality of life for the tenants. Tony Jacques remarked, 'Its is very clear that the maisonettes at Moor Farm do not provide the quality of accommodation HHL consider appropriate.

We are keen to work with tenants to look at realistic options to further improve things both in the short term and the long term.
